Report: Madrid’s James Rodriguez involved in high-speed car chase

Real Madrid striker James Rodriguez led police on a high-speed car chase on his way to the team’s training facility on Friday, according to Spanish news outlet AS.

Rodriguez, 24, reportedly sped into Madrid’s training ground with a police car in pursuit, with an undercover officer asking him to pull over and the striker refusing. According to the officer, Rodriguez was driving 200 kilometers per hour (124 mph). He could face charges.
AS released video of the incident, with officers telling team security that they had trailed Rodriguez at 200 kph. Police were allowed into the facility after a discussion.
