Yesterday, Jason Derulo and Daphne Joy officially announced their relationship on snapchat, and we guess it’s because it is now safe to be open about their love affair.

Not long ago, Jason Derulo posted a photo of himself lounging with Joy who is the mother of 50 Cent’s son Sire, but he quickly took it down after fans told him how petty 50 Cent could be. Joy also denied being in any relationship with the singer.
“Being at the same place and time doesn’t mean your an item(sic),” she wrote on Twitter. “If you follow me on any of my social media I was already in London for work, and had a casual dinner w friends. I’m single, please don’t get too wrapped up over one photo.”

However, the secret lovebirds are no longer hiding their romance, probably because 50 Cent didn’t appear to have a problem with it. “Someone gotta do it,” 50 responded to a fan who alerted him to the new couple, and he has since been peacefully co-parenting with the model.
