STRANGE: Woman Arrested For Beating Farting Husband To A Pulp

A woman has been arrested after she beat and pepper-sprayed her husband to stop him farting in bed in Port St. Lucie, Florida, USA.

Donald Fitzroy Meikle claims was elbowed by his wife Dawn after she woke up because of his persistent farting. The enraged woman sadled her sleepy spouse and started punching, scratiching and kicking him.

Dawn faces charges of domestic battery

The man fell out of bed and the fight erupted, leaving Donald  with deep scratches up to 20cm long across his chest and his wife with her lip split open. Then Dawn hid in the bathroom and even dispersed pepper-spray to keep her husband out of the room.

But somehow Donald managed to restrain his infuriate wife and called the police. The woman was arrested, charged with domestic battery and taken to the St. Lucie County jail.

While the majority of domestic violence victims are women, abuse of men happens far more often than people used to think. It takes many of the same forms as it does against women: physical violence, intimidation and threats, sexual, psychological, verbal and financial abuse, property damage etc.
