Now the dust has settled on Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich exit some theories behind his decision are beginning to air.
According to SPORT BILD a Man United player was one of the main reasons Guardiola got the hump with the Bayern board.
And it has nothing to do with selling Bastian Schweinsteiger.
The Spaniard was reportedly annoyed Bayern didn’t back his move to sign Matteo Darmian, which would have freed up Philipp Lahm to play in midfield.
Instead Bayern insisted he signed Arturo Vidal, a decision which didn’t go down well with Guardiola.
They also wouldn’t offer Toni Kroos big bucks to stay at the club, allowing him to drift off to Real Madrid.
So take note, whoever employs Guardiola next, be it Man United, Man City or Chelsea.
Do what he says or else he’s off!
