Picture obtained by @NGShineYourEye has revealed the deplorable state of chairs at the hearing room of the Nigerian Senate.
The chairs, most of them looking torn and worn out have been prevalent in the National Assembly’s hearing room two inspite of the lawmakers’ annual budget of a whooping N150billion.

Nigerians have since reacted to the tweet by @NGShineYourEye, with many commentators saying it was a shame that the
Nigerian Senate could have such chairs at its complex in spite of the monies at its disposal.

This report weeks after photos had emerged of President Muhammadu Buhari bowing in the direction of the broken seat during his presentation of the 2016 budget to the lawmakers at the National Assembly.
The argument is that the National Assembly spends about N120billion annually and could not fix a seat to which the president of Africa’s most populous country had to bow.
