Ozil Named German Player Of The Year

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has been named the German player of the year for the fourth time.
In the last five years he lost the crown only in 2014 to Toni Kroos.

This year more than 51,000 fans voted for Arsenal star, giving him 45.9 % of the vote and a comfortable margin of victory ahead of Thomas Muller (15.9%) and Jonas Hector (13.6%).


It should be noted that he has 16 assists and 87  created chances in the EPL. According to the statistics, this is the best totals of any player in Europe’s top-five leagues this season.
