"MR Costa is a top striker and he will score more goals"

• Since Mourinho’s departure Costa has scored six goals in seven appearances

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois said: “We knew that when he scored a few goals again he would go on and score more. He’s a top striker and he will score more goals for us.The goal against Arsenal was a big one and I think he has confidence.”

The 27-year-old has scored six goals in seven appearances  since Mourinho’s departure.

Last season Costa scored 21 goals in 37 appearances.

This season he has 8 goals in 25 games.
