Watch out George Clooney – you’ve now got some serious competition in the silver fox department.
Perry is in London getting ready to make his West End playwriting debut in The End Of Longing, which he will also star in.
But if fans have nabbed tickets to see ‘Chandler’ on stage they might get a shock because he’s been replaced by a silver fox.
It’s fair to say he could have done up his shirt, combed his hair and ideally not be puffing on a cigarette, but we can look past all of that because he’s now in the Clooney league.
Rehearsals for the play, which will open at The Playhouse Theatre in the West End, started on Monday and by the tired look on his face, it’s pretty clear he’s been putting in the hours to make sure the run is perfect.
Previously speaking about his turn in London’s theatre district, Perry said: ‘It’s been about 12 years since I’ve performed in a play in the West End so I’m very excited for my comeback.’
Perry hasn’t trod the West End boards since 2003 when he starred in Sexual Perversity in Chicago with director Lindsay Posner.
Does this throwback of Ross and Chandler look more familiar?
Or what about this one?
This one?
What about this one?
How do you rate Matthew Perry's new look?
- I prefer his clean shaven look
- Silver fox!
The End Of Longing opens at The Playhouse on February
