They nearly got married and he’s got a tattoo of her face on his arm but Zayn Malik has hinted about why it didn’t work out with ex-fiancee Perrie Edwards.
Zayn, who is now dating model Gigi Hadid, was asked to describe his ideal women.
His answer? Someone who is ‘chunky’ and ‘intellectual’.
He said: ‘I need a challenge.
‘Also, I like girls that are a bit chunky in certain areas – the nice areas. I like a fuller woman.’
He added: ‘I enjoy an intellectual conversation as well, where someone can construct a sentence beyond what hair and makeup they’re wearing, and talk about something political or about the world. I like an opinion.’
Zayn broke up with Little Mix singer Perrie last year after four years together.
He got together with Gigi at the AMAs in November and they’ve been inseparable in the past few weeks.
We’re not sure how she’s going to take being called chunky though…
