UPDATES: Buhari at Kaduna For Music Festival, KASU Convocation

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Kaduna state to declare open a musical festival and attend the convocation ceremony of the Kaduna State University (KASU).
The musical festival organized by the Kaduna state government is designed to raise funds for the artistes.
Speaking with journalists, Governor El-Rufai noted that the festival was a purely private initiative, and the state government would not commit any funds to it.
While visiting the university, the president was pleasantly surprised and was awarded a Honorary Doctorate Degree in Letters.

After visisting the KASU, President Buhari attended Kadfest opening ceremony which was held at Ahmadu Bello Stadium.
Ahead of the president’s visit, and security operatives were drafted to strategic areas including the stadium, which was decorated with the logo and colors of the festival.
