2. Tribunals: a win and a defeat for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
Abia state: Alex Otti of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) was declared the winner. The election of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu (PDP) was annulled by Owerri-based court of appeal.
Taraba state: A court of appeal sitting in Abuja decided in favour of PDP’s Darius Ishaku. Aisha Alhassan, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, cannot be now considered as the winner.
