German football club Bayern Munich have confirmed that manager Pep Guardiola will be leaving the club at the end of this season and will be replaced by Carlo Ancelotti.
The three-year contract of Pep Guardiola, who secured two Bundesliga titles in his first two seasons in Munich, will officially expire this summer. Former Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti , who was sacked in May, will sign a three-year contract to take over Bayern this summer.
“We are thankful to Guardiola for all he gave our club and hope to celebrate more success in the current season,” he stated “With Ancelotti we have another very successful coach coming to Bayern. We are looking forward to working together.”
Ancelotti in return stated that it was an honour to be part of the club and he had no hesitation in accepting the offer when he was approached by the club. “I honestly wish FC Bayern Munich and my friend Pep Guardiola the best for the current season.” he added
