Carlo Ancelotti confirmed as Bayern Munich’s new manager

German football club Bayern Munich have confirmed that manager Pep Guardiola will be leaving the club at the end of this season and will be replaced by Carlo Ancelotti.

The three-year contract of Pep Guardiola, who secured two Bundesliga titles in his first two seasons in Munich, will officially expire this summer. Former Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti , who was sacked in May, will sign a three-year contract to take over Bayern this summer.
The news was confirmed by Bayern chief executive, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge earlier today during an interview with  Bild newspaper.
“We are thankful to Guardiola for all he gave our club and hope to celebrate more success in the current season,” he stated “With Ancelotti we have another very successful coach coming to Bayern. We are looking forward to working together.”
Ancelotti in return stated that it was an honour to be part of the club  and he had no hesitation in accepting the offer when he was approached by the club. “I honestly wish FC Bayern Munich and my friend Pep Guardiola the best for the current season.” he added
