The former Argentinian player Juan Sebastian Veron states that Lionel Messi once told him he wanted to play for Inter.
Veron, who spent his 20-year career in such clubs as Sampdoria, Parma, Lazio and Inter said that Barcelona star had previously spoken to him about his desire to play for the Milan club.
Veron said: “It’s been a few years, but one time he told me he would like to play for Inter. But let me be clear, this was something that happened in the past. Massimo Moratti was still the owner of Inter and, frankly, I see it impossible for Leo to leave Barcelona.”
