Security men and Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) reacted immediately to the call that armed man in a masks attacked the house of Hon. Hussaini Monguno in Borno state.

He has yesterday on December 19 from sent out an SOS to the Nigerian military via his Faebook page saying that his house was under attack by unknown gunmen.
“My eight year old daughter just called to inform me that my house in Maiduguri is currently under attack by some unknown armed people in face-mask. Some of my relations and staff injured and bleeding. Kindly assist.”
He later confirmed that security men and Civilian JTF came to their help. One of the armed men was caught while the rest run.
Those wounded in the attack were taken to the hospital where they are currently receiving medical treatment.
Boko Haram gunmen has yesterday launched a raid on the home town of Army chief, Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, causing a fierce gun battle with soldiers, residents of a nearby village to which people fled.
Locals believe the attacks are in response to recent army advantage against the militants under Buratai.
