Manchester United are still trying to sign their former superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly playing a key role.
According to the Spanish source Marca, Ferguson met with Ronaldo in Madrid in March after the match against Schalke and had dinner with the forward and his agent Jorge Mendes
The source also states that Ferguson brought up the subject of a potential return to Old Trafford when he met with Ronaldo at his film premiere earlier this month.
Ronaldo is being chased by several clubs including Paris Saint-Germain who are ready to pay €120 million for the player.
