The World Bank has announced a new $16bn (£10bn) plan to help African countries deal with climate change.

Africa Climate Business Plan will be presented at the global summit in Paris next week.
This is a highly ambitious plan that will cover a vast array of strategies to help one of the most vulnerable parts of the world become more resilient to climate change.
The World Bank says it is looking at a number of measures including reforestation, better management of its great rivers such as the Niger and the Zambezi, adding bus lanes to ease congestion in cities as well as renewable energy such as solar, hydro and geothermal power.

It says that more investment is needed in early warning systems.
Whilst $16bn sounds a lot, the bank is warning that not taking action now will cost a lot more in the future.
