Lionel Messi is one of the best, if not the best, footballers to play the game.
But are his dazzling feet worth paying nearly £1million-per-week for?

Man City certainly feel they are, and are willing to offer Messi £40m-a-year to move to Manchester from Barcelona, according to The Sun.
City are willing to meet the £120m transfer fee Barcelona are seeking for the Argentinian, whose contract runs out in 2018.

Apparently Messi isn’t happy that Neymar’s long-term future is seen as more of a priority than his own by Barcelona’s hierarchy.
Added to this Messi and his dad could be facing charges from Spanish authorities over tax evasion, strengthening his desire to leave the country.

But spare a thought for poor old James Milner.
Just when he thought he would never have to face Messi again after joining Liverpool the Argentinian could be moving to the Premier League.
