During President Muhammadu Buhari’s recent trip to India, he hosted two young ladies, Aisha Umar Auwal and Jamila Muhammed.
According to reports, the young ladies who are both from Kano state graduated with first class in their Masters degree programme.
The president met with Nigerians who live in India at the premises of the Nigerian High Commission, New Delhi, but he gave private audience to Aisha and Jamila, who had been sent on scholarship by the Kano state government, to pursue Master’s degrees. Both of them graduated with first class honours.
Commending the two ladies for their feats, he also praised the Kano state government for its emphasis on human capital development.
President Muhammadu Buhari was recently on a 4-day official visit to New Dehli, India, to take part in the 3rd Summit of the India-Africa Forum.
