"The reasons for this we'll have to hear explained to us by Indonesian official, quite possibly the Attorney-General tomorrow. He was the first reporter to do a major profile on Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukamaran from inside Bali's Kerobokan prison.He told ABC News 24 the process has taken a heavy toll on the men's families.
"I've spoken to them over the years and seen them go through these ... I was going to say these ups and downs, it's mostly downs and sometimes you wonder the endurance of the human spirit. Every step has been a bad one for them and yet they've had to wake up the next morning and do it again and for all the people around them being offered some hope and I guess I was always part of that 'we'll do this story and people will see', they never thought it would come and they've kept their composure and their dignity throughout it. They're really two quite remarkable families."
