Idris Elba, shown so much love at the Lagos premiere of Beasts of No Nation – PHOTOS

Yesterday, Idris Elba (aka DJ Driis) arrived Lagos with Ghanaian star Abraham Attah for the premiere of Cary Fukunaga’s Beasts of No Nation, the movie adaptation of  Uzodinma Iweala’s 2005 novel of same name. The movie, which is already getting great reviews from critics, recently earned Elba a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

At the Silverbird Cinema in Victoria Island, Lagos, where the premiere was held, Elba was shown so much love from other stars and notable figures present at the event. Also present was the writer of the novel Uzodinma Iweala, his mother, the former Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, and Senator Ben Murray-Bruce.
