On Saturday, December 19, controversial Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar took her charity to the next level by donating $2000 (N540, 000) to a survivor of Sosoliso crash, in Kogi state.
As part of her plans to put smiles of the faces of the less privileged this Christmas, the Nollywood actress along-side Nigerian music artists, Jaywon, YQ and beauty queen, Miss Kogi paid a courtesy visit to Moms Orphanage in Lokoja, Kogi state and made this donation.
Under the auspice of her foundation, Halima Abubakar Foundation she showed her appreciation to her friends saying: “on behalf of Halima Abubakar Foundation, I humbly appreciate your support and encouragement…I appreciate Moms Orphanage Lokoja, Kogi state. 2freshevra, DannyB, Jaywon, YQ, Miss Kogi, Anakobe farms, Modehouz. May God bless you all.”

Halima Abubakar also took to her Instagram page, posting a picture of her carrying a baby with the caption: “bless who bless you. Charity with me @jaywonjuwonlo @iam_yq @misskogi I donated $2000 to the sosoliso survivor. It’s nothing. Kids were abandoned. We will arrest whoever is guilty of this offense, we don’t condone this #ambhalimaabubakar.”
She also used the medium to thank her fellow colleague and friend, Tonto Dikeh Churchill for donating N150, 000 to her foundation.
