Dokpesi May Miss Son’s Wedding Despite Being Granted Bail

Media mogul and owner of Daar Communications High Chief Raymond Dokpesi  who has been in the eye of the storm since the revelation that he got a huge amount of money from the

arms deal saga might be absent at his son’s wedding coming up this weekend.

There is palpable anxiety in Dokpesi’s household as his son Williams is set to wed in Kaduna in a few days’ time.

Michael Dokpesi will be getting married to his heartthrob of many years on December 17 and 19.

It is feared that the senior Dokpesi who has been granted bail but is yet to meet his bail condition might be absent at his son’s wedding.

Michael is a twin from Dokpesi fourth wife.

Mike Ozekhome (SAN) the Dokpesi’s counsel moved his application for bail which was granted on Monday, December 12.

The conditions for bail are N200 million each (N400m) by two sureties, the first surety must be a director of civil service or retired as such under pension. He must also present a letter by his boss to show same.

The second surety may be an independent entrepreneur but must present evidence of tax payments for the last three years. The sureties must also submit their passports to the court.
