JUST IN: Lionel Messi Suffers Another Injury

Barcelona and Argentina attacker Lionel Messi is set to miss the Club World Cup semi-final after suffering another injury.

Barcelona confirmed that the player is suffering from renal colic.

 The Argentine was set to lead his side’s attack in the Club World Cup semi-final against Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande but will now miss out.

Messi will miss the semi-final and could miss a possible final match against River Plate.

Earlier in the season Messi was ruled out for two months after suffering an injury against Las Palmas in a La Liga game. The Argentine made his comeback after eight weeks in the El Clasico against Real Madrid.
