UPDATES ON Resort Manager In Limpopo Killed During Robbery

Officials have reported that a Limpopo woman has been killed at an equestrian farm in Haenertsburg.
The police said the lady was allegedly killed following a suspected robbery.
Colonel Ronel Otto, a police spokesperson confirmed that the crime had been committed in that area.
According to News24, the woman was believed to be a manager at the Silver Mist resort.
A source from the area told newsmen that the unnamed woman was found dead under her bed.
“The house was turned upside down and ransacked. The incident is believed to have happened around midnight and she was found by one of the workers around 07:00,”the source said.
The alleged robbers made away with an undisclosed amount of money along with a bakkie.
Investigations are still ongoing and the police say they would only be in a position a bit later to release further details.
In a similar incident, a lecturer at the University of Limpopo was found dead in front of his rented house at the institution.

Police said on Monday, December 7, that Freddy Madiba, 50, was found in his wheelchair in front of his house by family members.
Police spokeswoman Ronel Otto said: “It appeared he might have been killed somewhere else and then brought to the rented house in the university premises. He had several open wounds to his head.”
IOL reports that as of the time of filing this report, no one has been arrested in connection with the killing.
